Apartments Larsen

We enjoyed our stay, and their warm hospitality felt very special.

We’ll be back soon. The place has a character of its own, with a main house, two upstairs apartments, and small cottages for two or three people, each with outdoor seating. It’s all built from traditional white Croatian stone, with rosemary, grapevines, olives, and other plants growing around the property. The hosts are a lovely couple who really look after their guests and are always glad to help or offer tips. They pointed us toward pizza in Omiš and ice cream in Split, suggested where to find homemade olive oil and wine, and treated us to cherry or fennel liqueur. The location is excellent, about 50 meters from the beach. There’s a shop roughly 20 meters away, plus an ATM and restaurant nearby, with several other good places to eat around. I recommend it 100%.

We spent nearly two weeks here recently and really enjoyed it. The owners were friendly and ready to help, and the place was clean, cared for, and in a great spot. The beach and the nearest restaurant are both about a three-minute walk away. A lovely place that had everything we wanted, and we’d certainly consider coming back.

Villa Larsen made a peaceful end to our trip through Croatia. We booked online from France and spent a few days unwinding by the sea in a small hamlet just outside Omis. There are no big tourist complexes here, just a quiet setting and several little pebble beaches a short walk away, where swimming was a real pleasure. Peter and Zana made the stay feel special. They’re genuinely lovely and do their best to keep their guests happy. We joined a BBQ they hosted on the shared terrace for the five cottages, and had the best sea bass we’d ever eaten. It was marinated with a few herbs and olive oil, cooked just right, then lightly smoked over vine shoots. The meal was delicious, and sharing the evening with Peter and Zana was just as nice. If they invite you, say yes. We also spent warm summer evenings talking with them on the terrace. The conversations were open and meaningful. Zana is a fantastic cook, and when we showed interest in her knowledge of local food, she was happy to talk about it. Peter offered us his homemade schnapps too, which was so good we wouldn’t have wanted to turn it down. The apartments and shared areas are beautiful, clean, well kept, and pleasant. Villa Larsen is a tranquil spot for people who enjoy the finer things in life, with a relaxed pace and the sea nearby. There’s free parking on site for one car, a vegetable stall less than 100 meters away, a mini-market, and several restaurants and bars along the seafront.
