Lokva is a small summer village without a promenade, disco, or marina, so if you’re after those kinds of activities, Omis or Baška Voda may suit you better. It’s a calm, pleasant place for a holiday, and the apartment is clean and nice.

The rooms are tiny, but the concierge was so friendly that I’m giving it three stars.

The owners were really warm and welcoming, and we had no major problems during our stay. It’s about a four-minute walk to a pebbly beach with very clear water. The only thing that let the place down was the Wi-Fi, which kept cutting out in the rooms. Still, I’d happily recommend it.

There’s a restaurant on site with tasty food at fair prices, and the hosts were kind and ready to help. The beach is clean, pebbly, and not crowded, less than five minutes away. It’s a calm, quiet spot that I’d recommend to families with kids or anyone who wants some peace.

You’ve got a restaurant and a little shop right nearby, and getting to the beach is quick. It shouldn’t be crowded, either. The accommodation standard was fine, and the location works well as a departure point. I recommend it.
