Guest House Lazeta

We came to visit friends who were holidaying there and found the accommodation lovely, with everything you need and stunning sea views. We’re booking to come back with them next year.

The balcony view was amazing, and our rooms were clean and tidy when we arrived. We spent a wonderful week with friends, helped along by the owners, who did their best to make everyone feel welcome. Thank you for your hospitality, Lazeta! We hope to return another time. Hugs from Lili and Chris, Norway!

The beach is just a two-minute walk away, and Split and Omiš are close too. The house was lovely and very clean, breakfast had plenty of variety, and the housekeepers were polite. I recommend it.

The room itself was very nice, with a stunning view from the large balcony, but there was no Wi-Fi. Getting there was a struggle: our taxi couldn’t find the place, so we walked from the main road and asked for directions to Lazeta. The building was closed, and we couldn’t reach the renter. Eventually a German guest let us inside through a small side door, since the main entrance was locked. We weren’t sure whether the room with a key in the door was the apartment we’d booked, but sleeping there seemed to be our only option. The kitchen was shut, so after hearing the other guest made breakfast for himself, we found a different hotel 150 meters away for breakfast. The owner never replied. On our last day, we messaged to ask when to check out and got no answer. We rented a motorcycle and went sightseeing. When we returned around noon, an angry lady was shouting at us from the balcony. A neighbour translated that checkout was at 10. We tried to explain, but got nowhere, so we took our bags and left. It’s a great place, but the rules need to be posted in the lounge or rooms, and guests should have some breakfast available. Coffee or tea and toasted bread would be enough. A sign by the main road would also help taxis find Lazeta.
