Villa Apartments Babaja

We stayed here last year with our 6-month-old baby, Stella. The owners were very kind and even cooked dinner for us, so we spent a lovely evening together. The room was clean, and the beach is about 5 minutes away. The shopping center and markets are maybe 10 minutes away. Hope we get to come back 😇

The parking area is cramped and causes guests problems, and the air conditioning was a major issue. We also found the rooms very dirty, with many services differing from what was advertised. The hosts were intrusive, monitoring us around the clock and even checking what rubbish we threw away. They did offer food, drinks, and friendly smiles, but I felt that came with pressure to leave a positive review. When we left, Mrs Babaja gave me a bottle of homemade rakija and asked for a good note. I returned it. In my view, the offer amounted to five euros for a positive comment, and it may explain why some guests leave five stars with neutral wording instead of telling the whole story. Don't be fooled by the hospitality.

Stay away if you don't want your vacation spoiled. I believe the owners reward positive reviews of these holiday apartments with food or alcohol.

The room was dirty and the shower seemed close to falling apart, and after all that we were yelled at to leave with “gasimy klima.” We also discovered the air conditioning wasn't free as advertised. The pool was always taken over by the owners, who were drunk, so we couldn't use it.
