Villa Sanja

A lovely seaside view and all the hospitality you could want, plus more. Thank you Sanja!

We were at Villa Sanja from August 9th to 16th, and the location was a real highlight. The beach and small market were both about a three-minute walk away, and the nearest town was only a short drive. Our room had air conditioning and a really comfortable bed. The hosts were polite, very friendly, and ready to answer questions whenever we had them. We’d happily spend another holiday at Villa Sanja.

We loved room no. 3 on the 2nd floor. It looks a lot like our own room, with a modern white style and little touches like the lamps and two stacked white artificial spa stones. The mattress was great, the closet had plenty of hangers, and the balcony had a sea view, table and chairs, plus a line and clothespins for wet towels and swimsuits. The room was spotless and had air conditioning, a ceiling fan, and its own bathroom next door that locks with a key. There’s also a shared kitchen with good equipment, a personal fridge and a lidded box for food that doesn’t need chilling. Outside, dining tables sit in natural shade. Sanja is a wonderful landlady, kind and never intrusive. I’m glad I met her 🙂. To reach the nearby beaches, go down to the right and take the stairs through a small tunnel under the road. They’re next to each other and have restaurants and showers. The villa is behind the restaurant "Skalinada", which serves wonderful food at decent prices and has a wide choice of cocktails. The location and beach are beautiful, and the staff are great. Cleanliness was top notch. The apartment we stayed in wasn’t the most modern, but it was tidy and clean. From what I could see, the other apartments have been renovated, so I’m sure this one will be too. All in all, a place I’d recommend.
