The hosts were very friendly, and the apartment was clean, roomy, and had all the equipment we needed. Parking could be a little tricky if you have a bigger car.

The owners live upstairs, but we hardly noticed them and they never checked up on us. They greeted us with cold drinks and local beer, then sent us off with lovely lavender from their garden. That garden is beautifully kept, fragrant, and lovely to look at. The apartment is wonderful, spacious, and packed with everything you could need: an ironing board and iron, dishwasher tablets, coffee maker, spices, towels, rubbish bags, pots, pans, and a safe. The owners were warm, helpful, and hospitable. Everything is nearby, so we barely used the car. We recently got back from Opatija and were lucky to stay in the beautiful Božič apartment. We wholeheartedly recommend it.
