Apartment Rona Opatija Superior

We chose the place mainly for the jacuzzi, hoping to use it after the children went to bed. Nobody told us it was broken until we asked, and then we heard a previous guest had damaged it. We would have appreciated knowing ahead of time, or having that reflected in the price. The apartment is spacious and nicely located, with two bathrooms, but several things made the stay disappointing. We had asked about a baby bed and were told there wasn't one, so we packed ours into an already full car. At the apartment, we found one tucked at the bottom of a cupboard. We booked for four, but only the double bed was made up, so we had to prepare another bed after arriving. At least there was spare bedding. On arrival, half the apartment had no hot water or electricity, and we had to report it even though cleaners were there. I'm not sure how they had cleaned under those conditions. We were also given only two rolls of toilet paper for six days. When I asked the cleaner for more, she said she couldn't provide any, though a bag of toilet paper was left on the table that evening, which we appreciated. The website wasn't working, so we couldn't get the box code, and the person we called couldn't give us one either. After several hours of travel with two small children, sorting that out took a long time. We're sorry the many problems left us dissatisfied. For this price, we expected better. I hope our feedback is useful and doesn't put anyone off having a great holiday.
