A handy base for a few days exploring Opatija and Volosko. Kristian is punctual and speaks several languages. For your first visit, don't drive into the parking area. Call Kristian and he'll open the gate.

The Komel family were lovely hosts, always available if we needed anything. We had a wonderful weekend in their apartment right in the city center, near Slatina beach. It's beautifully furnished, tidy, well equipped, and has a pleasant balcony surrounded by greenery. Don't let the old villa's exterior put you off. Inside, it feels hotel-standard and was a lovely surprise. We definitely recommend it.

The apartment is close to the beach, and the owner is friendly. It gives you a typical Croatian 4-star experience. I've stayed in better places for this price, but it was okay.
