The balconies have a sensational view, and breakfast is available too. The rooms were clean and good, and the owners provided excellent service. Finding the guesthouse is another matter: it's very hard to reach, easy to get lost even with GPS, and practically impossible without it. Even so, the trip is worth it.

We were six and all fit comfortably in this spacious apartment, with a sea view. The hosts were friendly. Getting there is the downside, since the alleys are narrow and steep, but that also keeps the area peaceful and quiet.

The terrace and its sweeping views are a real highlight of this elevated, high-quality apartment. Everything was just right, from the amenities to communicating with the owner and getting sightseeing tips. A place to see in Opatija.
