You can see how much care the hosts put into the villa, from the flower-scented sheets to the well-kept garden and breakfast. The Mediterranean garden surrounds a gorgeous villa, with a pool and all the facilities, and balconies with views that go on for days. The setting is spectacular, looking out at both sea and mountains. Highly recommended for anyone in the area!

Getting down to the seafront and back is a long walk, but Villa Avena is a fabulous place to stay. It's a lively spot with lots of volleyball going on. There are places to lounge and relax by the pool, and everything was beautiful and clean. Room 1 has an amazing balcony where we could see the moon clearly. It was beautiful.

From outside, there's a good sea view and outdoor area, but indoors the place is poorly maintained. The room and tiny bathroom seemed OK at first, though hygiene had been neglected in places. The toilet seat was cracked, and the shower and sink were dirty and moldy. The bedroom-to-bathroom door is basically paper-thin. We were glad we only stayed one night and wouldn't recommend a longer visit. There are much better places in the area for this price.
