The breakfast team were so welcoming, smiling and greeting us as we came in. Ms.Helena from Philippines, who checks room numbers at the door, always gave us a warm good morning and said, "please enjoy your breakfast." That really made dining feel special. Reception staff were lovely too. We also had a great experience in the Spa department. Ms. Catharina( I hope I said the right name)☺️ was very kind, always smiling and ready to help. Martha gave a wonderful massage, and she's a sweet, easygoing young woman who does her job perfectly. For the room, the only thing I can mention is the bottled water. They provide one bottle on the first day, then give you another after room cleaning on later days. It wasn't a big deal, since the tap water is drinkable. Thanks, Heritage hotel imperial Opatija. We had a great stay.

At 141 years old, this is Croatia's second-oldest hotel. Inside, the classic Austrian Hungarian/Baroque styling makes it feel like walking into an Agatha Christie novel. The rooms are great, and the view looks over Opatija Main Street.

The breakfast buffet was delicious and extraordinary, and the spa has a steam room, sauna and a well-equipped exercise room. It's family friendly, the rooms are beautiful and clean, and we had great ocean views. Staff were helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights of our Europe trip!

It's a beautiful, grand old hotel right on the main street, but it's not a place to get much rest. If you like loud cars speeding past and revving their engines all night, you'll love staying here. There's no air conditioning in the rooms either.

The room was pleasant and the bed comfortable, but both breakfast and dinner were mediocre. Parking costs 15 euro a day, even in winter.
