10/10
The calm, relaxing atmosphere was lovely, and the indoor pool has warm water. Treatment prices seemed reasonable too. My room was clean, with an amazing sea view at sunrise. The hotel has a beautiful old-money style and sits right by the Lungomare promenade. Staff were really kind. Breakfast was standard, though I would have liked more non-dairy options.

We spent six nights at Hotel Savoy in Opatija and loved its classic charm. The traditional building is in respectable shape, and our executive suite had a stunning ocean view. The private beach and pool were great for relaxing, with the promenade right nearby. Parking is offsite, across the street.

The sea-facing rooms are lovely, and the hotel itself is beautiful. The women at reception were very nice, and breakfast was good. I have to come back.

10/10
The private beach, with easy access to the water, was a real plus. Although the rooms felt a little dated, I liked the retro-chic character it gave the hotel. Our room was spacious and spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the view was one of the best in Opatija. Breakfast was rich and varied, with plenty of tasty choices. Staff across reception, housekeeping, the beach, spa, and à la carte restaurant were friendly and professional, and clearly cared about making the stay pleasant. Having stayed in several Opatija hotels, I’d say Hotel Savoy offers the best service in town. It exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it.

The breakfasts could have been better, even though they were included, but that’s my only real gripe. The location is brilliant, right on the ocean, with quiet rooms and comfortable beds. Service was great and prices decent. Parking is across the street and costs EUR 20 per day. Still a great place.
