The staff were the friendliest I've met, and the service was the best I've experienced. Special thanks to our waiter Arnel for his hospitality, professionalism and the extra sunshine he brought to our stay. The rooms were comfortable and super clean, and breakfast had great choices with a lovely terrace view right by the ocean. 10/10

There’s an open-air discotheque right beside the hotel, and sleeping was impossible. Even having a conversation was hard. At around €300 for a room, the price feels cheeky. I wouldn’t recommend booking this hotel.

It wasn't worth the money. The service was poor in general, and breakfast was disappointing, with cold eggs and awful coffee. Instead of orange juice, there was only a sweet drink that tasted like orange.

Opatija is the place to go for beauty, amazing food and luxury. If you ever visit Croatia, Villa Amalia is a beautiful luxury spot to see.

I've stayed at this villa, which belongs to hotel Kvarner, quite a few times and have always been completely satisfied. I highly recommend it.
