Villa Luppo

You really have to come and experience the amazing hospitality for yourself. Then you'll understand what I mean.

The hosts were very friendly and greeted us with a lovely welcome gift. They were always ready with useful local information. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable and well equipped, with everything needed for a carefree holiday. The beach view was a special treat. The beach is about 500 meters away, with roughly 50 meters of elevation difference. Parking was easy and convenient.

We spent a week in the cottage behind the villa. It's small but just right, beautifully furnished and thoughtfully laid out, and we felt very comfortable there. Everything was perfect. One tip: keep the jacuzzi door firmly shut, or the owner will have restless nights. Keep up the good work.

We stayed in the "Anna" apartment at Villa Luppo, one of two apartments in the house. Each has three double bedrooms, so the place works well for bigger families or groups. Ours was spotless, and the view over Ićići beach was breathtaking. The dining area was especially lovely with the patio doors open. There were several places to sit outside, by the entrance, on the terrace next to one bedroom, and on the terrace off the dining room. The price felt fair. Katja and Ivo were friendly and accommodating, and it was nice chatting with them, preferably in English or their native Croatian. Ivo also speaks German. The pebbly beach is just a few minutes' walk away, though the route down is very steep. Parking comes with the accommodation. Finding it was a little tricky because our GPS sent us a different way, apparently toward a construction site. We called for directions and, after asking around, learned to turn off the "main road" at the Pizzeria Venezia and head uphill. This is an ideal place that gets top marks from us, and we'd highly recommend it. The photos only show the view, unfortunately.
