Villa La Vagabonda Apartment

The outdoor spaces were lovely at any time of day, especially the pool and kitchen area, and there were plenty of private spots to relax. Villa La Vagabonda sits between Dubrovnik, Brsečina beach, and several wild beaches worth discovering. Marija and Natalia were especially kind, and Pavle shared some great sailor stories. Our rooms were clean, tidy, spacious, and comfortable, with both pool and room towels provided. It’s also a great choice if you’re traveling with a dog. We couldn’t have chosen better.

We had a relaxing time by the infinity pool, and the apartment had everything we needed, plus a lovely bottle of Croatian wine. The garden and flowers are beautiful, and the self-service coffee was a nice touch. Our hosts were communicative and helpful throughout, and the apartment’s pamphlet about the area came in handy. Dubrovnik is a bit of a drive, so a rental car makes getting there easier. Parking downtown takes a little extra research. The local area is gorgeous, especially the Trsteno Aboretum. Such a treat to stay here.

Our daughter had some mild health issues, and the hosts drove us to the apothecary without hesitation. We really appreciated that. Villa La Vagabonda also has spacious, clean rooms with everything we needed. There’s a small supermarket, local restaurants, and a nice beach nearby, where you can rent a boat for a trip around the bay. The pool was clean, and the outdoor area had coffee and sun beds. We’d definitely stay again if we return to Dubrovnik. We were there from 16/7 to 22/7/2018.

We were the first guests of the 2021 season, and the pool and gardens looked even better in person than in the photos. It’s a lovely family-friendly place for a great holiday, with good restaurants close by. We ate at La Veranda in Stikovica twice and enjoyed it both times.
