Apartment Rose

We stayed for 10 days in the summer of 2016, four of us, and were delighted with the holiday home. It's a beautiful, clean place with modern furnishings, and the terrace and grill made for lovely summer evenings. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, and even invited us for coffee at the end of our stay. You rarely meet people so warm. The location is quiet, tucked on a side street, even though the nearest supermarket and currency exchange are only 50 meters away. The beach, restaurants, and tourist shops are about a 10-minute walk. A few things could be better: the kitchen could use more equipment, since after cooking once we usually had to run the dishwasher, and there were only a few dishcloths and towels. Also, Orebic doesn't really have a sandy beach, just a small patch mixed with pebbles. We've seen nicer beaches and seas. The water is very clear, though the seabed takes some getting used to. We had a fantastic holiday and thought both the house and location were great choices. We highly recommend them.
