Apartments Bilić

There's a pretty view of Korčula from the balcony, and the parking is fenced with natural shade. A grocery store is right across from the apartment, with a bakery on either side. The beach and waterfront are just a two-minute walk away. The owners are friendly and always around when needed. All praise for the accommodation.

The apartments were awful. There was no TV, the fridge wasn't adequate, and two sockets didn't work. The owners were terribly rude, and when we complained they threw us out straight away. I wouldn't recommend anyone stay there. It's dreadful, barely worth even one star. Tomorrow morning we're going to report them to the agency that sets apartment star ratings. Is this rock bottom?

The apartment and the area around it were clean and well kept, and the rooms had a large balcony. Still, the owners' treatment of us made us feel like intruders who weren't wanted there. We arrived in Dalmatia on July 16, 2022. There were six of us in two apartments, with four staying in Bilic. The owner showed us around, but the room was missing a chopping board and had only three pieces of cutlery, a bread knife and a tiny blunt knife. The air conditioning remote didn't work at first, though it was fixed after we asked for a long time. One outlet was dead, so there weren't enough sockets. The kitchen was so small we had to put the dish drainer on the floor to cut anything. The bathroom door was awkward to close and could be slammed. After unpacking, we used the barbecue downstairs and our two friends came over. We were talking quietly, with no music and no one nearby to disturb. Then the owner came over shouting in Croatian and English, calling us names and threatening to contact Booking and the police. We didn't understand at first, but it seemed she didn't want people who weren't staying there around. That's understandable, but the way she spoke to us wasn't. She called us idiots, among other things, and our friends left when she asked. We finished grilling and planned to eat outside the property. She kept coming over to insult us and remind us to clean the barbecue while we were still using it. Once we were done, we cleaned everything, and the owners inspected it.

We only came to visit a friend who was staying there, and they threw us out like dogs. We weren't making noise or playing music. We just sat, had coffee and talked normally. I can't understand why that bothered them, but all right. The owners were so unkind, unpleasant and incredibly rude. The landlady was even worse than the owner. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Absolutely the worst.
