Old and dirty, unfortunately.

The apartment itself needs a full renovation. The furniture is dated, and there was a constant smell in the bathroom. The air conditioner was old and leaking, and when we opened the window for just five minutes to air out a foul smell after being gone all day, the owner complained. She said we had no right to open it while the AC was on and threatened that she had sensors showing when it was running. We've spent ten years vacationing in Croatia, and this was the first time we were treated so badly. The keys could open every apartment, including a neighbor's, and when we raised this at the entrance the owner blamed the lack of a surveillance system. On day two, she came into our apartment at 5:00 PM because she said the children were acting up. Her own grandchildren ran around and slammed doors until 11:00 PM the next day, though no guests complained about them. After saying our children were too loud, she cancelled our Booking reservation. When we tried to sort it out, she blamed Booking, but we called and the consultant confirmed the owner had cancelled it. The consultant then contacted her because the contract said she should refund us. She didn't answer and told us to make another reservation instead. We eventually reached an agreement after speaking with her daughter. By the end, we were stressed and unsure if the host would bother us again. I honestly can't recommend this place. This is my first review ever.

Parking in front of the house fits a couple of cars. We visited on vacation in 2022 and found the owners friendly, helpful, and never intrusive. The room was clean and had everything we needed, including a kitchenette, bathroom, and air conditioning. Our expectations were average, and we didn't need a freshly painted apartment, so the location suited us perfectly.

The bathroom really needs a major renovation. The place was as described, though air conditioning would have been a welcome extra. Parking was available and easy to access, and the location is handy for both the town center and the port.
