It felt homely, and the owner was professional, warm, and caring. The space is beautifully decorated, the ambiance is superb, and the cleanliness was perfect. All praise for the owner and staff. A top place to rest your soul in the heart of Osijek.

There was no shampoo for the shower and no hot water. The staff complained about the electricity, but wouldn't lower the price because the hot water was unavailable, and they didn't issue a bill. In short, it was a disaster. I'm biracial and have stayed in hostels throughout Europe, and I wouldn't recommend this one. I later found out there are many hostels in Osijek for €10 per person.
