After spending an hour inside, we realized we couldn't relax or sleep there, so we left for hotel Osijek. The room door was like a folding harmonica door and didn't have a proper lock. The owner showed us a box, said the key was there, and left, but we couldn't find it. I know it was a room rather than an apartment, but for twice the price you could get an apartment at a great hotel with breakfast included. This place wasn't worth 45e. There were chairs instead of night tables, too. It's really a shame that anyone can rent out a place like this. Don't go unless you've got a strong stomach!

It's cheap, and the owners did give me complementary apple jam, but getting the room key was a hassle. There was nobody at reception and the owners were hard to find, so I waited three hours. The internet was slow, about 4 Mbits/s for me. I didn't mind much, though Netflix or other movies could buffer. On weekends, two nightclubs less than 20 meters away make it hard to sleep. I knew what was nearby, so I don't blame the owners for that.

Thanks for having us, it was a cool family-run place. I think I owe them for three nights.

The host was friendly, the location excellent, and the price very low, the cheapest. But the rooms were old, dirty, and neglected. The shared toilet had no paper, and everything smelled old and unpleasant. It might work if you're going out for the night and just need the cheapest sleep in Osijek, but expect very poor, dirty accommodation.
