The village feels local and isn’t especially touristy, but there are still lots of lovely restaurants and beaches to explore. We’d happily come back. Villa Antiqua made a wonderful base for a family holiday. It’s peaceful, thoughtfully decorated, friendly to pets and the environment, and the hosts were so welcoming and generous. They also gave us a lovely feel for Croatian life. The pool was great for kids and adults alike. The rooms were comfortable, the house stayed cool in the heat, and the equipment was excellent. There were plenty of spots indoors and outside to relax, eat, or hang out.

Osor has such a relaxing feel, and the villa is amazing, with its ancient history and heated pool. We loved breakfast at “Konoba Mare”. We’ll definitely come again!

The location is beautiful and very inviting, and the beds were comfortable, so we slept really well. The pool is lovely too, though a little chilly, and it really ought to be heated. The advertised whirlpool had already been taken apart, and the grill was too dirty for us to use. We had a lovely stay, and the landlord was charming, which kept this from losing a second star. Still, from September 15th onward, the midday rest period wasn’t allowed, so we had 14 days of nonstop noise from construction and harbor work while boats were brought in and serviced. The landlord hadn’t known about this in advance, but some general warning would have helped. Whether the holiday home is worth the price is up to each person to decide.
