Guest house Revelin

The owner was really kind and helpful, and the hotel was clean and very good. The location was perfect. We'll definitely come back.

The staff and host were lovely and very accommodating, and the room itself was spacious and nicely decorated, with a fantastic balcony view. Still, the balcony was hard to enjoy because the air-conditioning fan blew hot air right at you. Inside, the hot-water tank in the bathroom pumped out so much heat that, with it 39°C outside, it felt like having your own sauna. The folding bathroom door had huge gaps when shut, which isn't exactly romantic with your girlfriend, if you know what I mean. Breakfast was probably the worst we had on our travels around Europe. This hotel has so much potential to be an amazing B&B, which makes that a shame.

The terrace had lovely views, and it wasn't far from town. We landed here after floods stopped us reaching the hotel we'd booked, and the innkeepers kindly took us in. Our room was very nice, though its bathroom was a little dated. We could have chosen a room with a renovated bathroom but picked this one. There's a restaurant downstairs where breakfast is included, and you can also have dinner there.

The waiter was excellent and polite, and the view was nice. The restaurant food, though, tasted like it had been fried in old oil and didn't seem properly finished. I'd expect the same care from the meals as from the waiter, with food that's tasty and delicious. No reason for me to return.
