Tonka was lovely and helpful, and speaks English and German fluently, at least. The villa is a few meters from the beach, though not right in the city. It has a nice-sized pool and all the furniture and kitchen gear needed for cooking and grilling. It fits 14 people comfortably, so it works well for large families or groups. Highly recommended 🙂!

The villa looks just like the pictures, with a lovely view, a great pool, thoughtful design, and beautiful furnishings. It really is a wonderful place, and deserves five stars for those things. But in one of the three ground-floor apartments, the musty smell was terrible. We kept a window and at least one door open all week just to make it bearable, and the smell in the bed made me dread going to sleep. The garden cushions and chair pads stank too. I suspect damp outdoor cushions were brought into that apartment in autumn, then it was shut until spring, leaving everything to rot for six months. If this hadn't been a family holiday, I wouldn't have stayed a week. Such a shame for a villa with so much going for it.
