We stayed in the Relax House, a detached place with two bedrooms, a living room and kitchen, and one bathroom with a toilet. There's a veranda with a table and chairs, plus a spot to relax beside the house among olive trees. The pool and its surroundings were lovely, and it was cleaned each morning, with not a leaf or bit of dirt in the water. The neighbourhood was quiet, there was a sea view from the porch, a bakery across the main road, and the staff spoke English. A few things could be better for the price. We got only a starter set of toilet paper and trash bags for the whole stay, and no refills. Small towels were provided, with no exchange. The Relax House has just one bathroom and toilet. These would be small costs for the owners, but could make a big difference to the guest experience. There were strict rules: no pool after 9 pm, though an extra hour would have been nice; no visitors, even if they only wanted to leave a car for an hour while eating out with us; and no staying past the exact checkout time. We were allowed to check in earlier than expected, though. Rules are rules, and you know them beforehand. For some people, the rules could be an advantage. The place is among olive trees, with a small playground for kids. In 2024, air conditioning cost an extra €7 per day. I'm not sure it was really needed, since the house has small windows, solid metal blinds and mosquito nets, so you can leave the windows open overnight. The beaches are about 800-1000 metres away on foot, and the low light pollution means you can see the stars. There was no welcome drink. I know, I know, but it was the first time in Croatia that a private owner hadn't offered or advertised a local one, so we had to find one ourselves, lol. It's a good place for the price, with a few things that could be improved. They wouldn't cost the owner much, but would leave a great impression on guests.
