We had the lower apartment, which was clean and really spacious, with air conditioning. We didn’t find ourselves short of anything, and the owner was very pleasant and kind. Just a few practical tips, not complaints: bring mosquito repellent, since there are plenty around. Toilet paper isn’t replenished, you only get towels at the start, and there aren’t spare garbage bags. We bought bags ourselves rather than asking the owner.

We were caught out by the cash-only setup around town and at the apartment. We hadn’t brought enough cash, and taking money out means paying a fee at the ATM. The town center is lovely and lively, with plenty to do. We stayed three nights and got a friendly welcome, and the hostess was easy to contact. The covered terrace and little outdoor kitchen were a lovely bonus, especially when it rained.

I haven’t stayed in this apartment myself, but the rooms look wonderful. Pakoštane is beautiful too.
