Vacation Home Between the Waters

A lovely house with everything you need for a nice holiday.

We were six people staying here in early June 2022, and our first impression was poor because the place wasn’t clean. The living-room floor and even the glass table were covered in dog hair from the owner’s mother’s dog. She lives downstairs and looks after the property. The kitchen worked, but it was very dirty, with ants everywhere and a mouse living there too. There are four bathrooms, all well equipped, but poorly maintained and, if they’d been cleaned at all, only superficially. Air conditioning was available on the ground floor, but the bedrooms are upstairs, so the nights were very hot. The terrace was large, with plenty of seating. After a drive of more than 15 hours, we spent the first two hours cleaning the accommodation to a standard we could accept. I emailed to ask about the cleanliness and got no response once they had already collected the money. It’s a very nice property in itself, if only it were maintained properly. I wouldn’t recommend it.

A great place close to the city, with parking underneath the house. It’s spread over two floors and has two bathrooms with toilets, a downstairs shower, and an upstairs whirlpool tub, though the water pressure was weak. The air conditioning is downstairs, and there’s a terrace upstairs. Great place.

A really nice apartment with everything provided and a great terrace. Just don’t count on watching regular TV, as only apps are available.
