Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Iadera

The rooms let the hotel down. The furnishings looked worn, the beds felt tired, and the pillows had an unpleasant smell. For a hotel in this category, that was unexpected. There’s only a curtain between the bathroom and the rest of the room, and it can absorb odors over time even after being washed. There’s a lot to like elsewhere: the location is beautiful, the resort is impressive, and the wellness area is spacious, modern, and relaxing, one of the best in the region. The staff were professional, warm, and welcoming. The hotel has real potential, but the rooms need urgent renovation to live up to its premium image.

Such a great place for families with kids. They’ve thought of everything, so you can enjoy your holiday while the children play safely and stay busy around the facility. It felt magical, and the service was spotless and premium. I’ve never seen this level of quality before, and I couldn’t find anything to fault. Highly recommended.

We spent five wonderful days here and felt at home everywhere, from check-in and check-out to the restaurants and spa. The kitchen and service in every restaurant deserve a big compliment, everything was top. Thank you to the IADERA team for such an unforgettable stay and incredible hospitality. The massage was excellent, but the rest of my mid-August stay fell short of what I expected from a 5★ hotel. Music ended at 10 PM and the main bar shut by 11. One beach bar closed at 6 PM, the other at 10, so there wasn’t anywhere for a late drink or evening socializing by the sea. The sauna and spa didn’t open until 10 AM either, which left early risers with little to do besides take a walk. The facility hours and schedules felt inflexible, especially in the evenings, and I expected more service and activities from a luxury hotel. It’s supposed to be an adults-only hotel, but children seemed to be everywhere.
