Apartments Mara

We loved this place. It's right on the beach with no neighbors around, and the peaceful setting is great for a couple's getaway. Ana, the owner, is so nice and helpful. It was our favorite place to stay in Croatia, and I highly recommend it.

I almost didn't write a review because I was unsure about letting everyone discover this magical place. It's somewhere to get some real rest from a hectic life, to reflect, plan, meditate, or simply feel grounded. The mornings and evenings are wonderfully calm, and the afternoons are made for lazy, sleepy hours. You hear crickets, wind moving through the trees, and the sea. Time and everything else seem to fall away, leaving only the present moment. Our apartment had everything we needed and more. Plodine, a large supermarket, is less than a five-minute drive away. Within 30 minutes there are some lovely restaurants: Fine Food Murter is an old favorite of ours, and La Spuz is our new love. Ana and Lili are wonderful hosts, warm, open, and sharp-minded. You can tell they love their haven here. I've found plenty of places in Dalmatia that feel like home, but this felt different. I managed to reconnect with myself, let go of work, problems, and the world, and just be. Simple, barefoot, happy. Thank you, family Zajc ❤️

The view is out of this world, the location is great, and the owner is wonderful. My wife said she loved them after just half an hour. Honestly, no other place can compare. We'd like to keep this spot to ourselves so we can stay here for years. Be warned, after your stay you might seriously wonder whether you ever want to go back home.

We've stayed at these apartments twice and both visits were fabulous. Every room has a sea view, and there's a heated private pool and an almost private beach. The nearest other accommodation is more than 500 meters away. Pirovac is the closest town, about 3 km from the center, where you can shop. We'd definitely come back.
