Suran Apartments

There’s a passage on the ground floor that leads straight to the promenade and sea, while parking is up the street behind the house. An ATM and a good restaurant are right next door. The first-floor apartments have balconies facing the bay. Downstairs, two apartments open onto the courtyard; the one to the left of the passage when viewed from the sea sits beneath the restaurant roof.

We had a sun terrace with loungers above the restaurant on the promenade, while the largest lower apartment stays in the shade all day and has a huge terrace. The place was clean, tidy and spacious, with decent equipment. The air conditioning in the central room was enough. The location is great, and the kids could walk back from the beach to use the toilet on their own. The owner was helpful and added two folding beds in place of the sofa bed. There were two outdoor showers by the terrace, and the WiFi worked. Nearby you’ll find ice cream shops, restaurants, two grocery stores, a baker, a beach that suits children, and a jumping platform. There were also sports activities for children and a motorboat trip. In the afternoon the water wasn’t completely clear because of the boats, though that’s how it is in the bay. There are lots of paths around for running and working out. A great holiday, I recommend it.

The owner did not register us during our stay at his property. We only avoided a fine of 130 euros per person because a border police officer was kind to us.
