Apartments Belenum

The hosts were really friendly and shared plenty of tips on local food, sights and places worth visiting. They communicate well with many Slavic speakers, though if you don’t know a Slavic language, you may want to bring a phrasebook. Belenum apartments is a quiet spot near three beaches, with a few good restaurants in the neighborhood. There’s private parking, a harbor, a swimming pool and a play court about a 7-minute walk away. All the apartments face the sea and have a balcony, bathroom, air conditioning and TV. Guests can use two outdoor kitchens and a stone barbecue under an arbor, or relax on the shaded deckchair area beneath two old oaks. Mediterranean fruit and herbs grow throughout the area. The bus stop is about a 5-minute walk away, with service to Cavtat or Dubrovnik. For the trip from the airport, it’s better to ask the host to arrange a taxi. I’d recommend it for a great holiday.

The owners were really warm and friendly. There’s a nice beach and a public swimming pool nearby, and you can get to Dubrovnik by water taxi. A great place to stay.

We called Apartment No. 1 'Sunset Haven' for its sea views and memorable sunsets. The apartment was comfortable, air-conditioned, and had a fully equipped kitchenette on the balcony, which made cooking with that view a real treat. Outside, there’s a large shaded dining area with a barbecue and coffee machine, plus laundry facilities. The hosts were welcoming and very friendly. Their son has a taxi and drove us to and from the airport when we asked, which we really appreciated. There’s also a large private parking lot. I’d happily recommend 'Sunset Haven'.
