It’s a quiet little holiday village around 15 minutes from Dubrovnik. The garden is nice, though from the ground floor the sea view is limited. There’s a lovely terrace with washing facilities, and the sea is a 5-10 minute walk away along descending routes.

The beach is close, either down about 180 steps or around a 5-minute walk along the road, and there are good spots for swimming. Our room was very clean. Ivo and his brother were extremely welcoming and gave us lots of helpful local information. We had a great stay.

It’s a peaceful area, best suited to people who appreciate a quiet stay. Within about 8 minutes there are three nice beaches, with a great restaurant right next door and another one on the beach. Ivo was very helpful, arranged our airport transfer, offered us homemade wine and suggested things to see. You can take a boat to Dubrovnik nearby, and buses and Uber/Bolt taxis are also available.

The owners are helpful with anything you need, and the apartment is cozy and warm. It’s a large property with plenty of homegrown food and wine. There are a few restaurants near the beach, about 500m down the road. I just love this place.

Plat is a quiet area with nice pebble beaches for swimming and two excellent restaurants, Poseydon and King Konoba. The only downside is there’s no supermarket. The apartment is run by a lovely family, Ivo, Alex, Domenico and Nado, who couldn’t do enough for us. Their friendly dog Lola also came by often. It’s about 10 minutes from the airport, though you’d never guess from the peaceful setting, and around 20 minutes by bus to Dubrovnik Old Town. The stop is a 5-minute walk away. I’d recommend staying here and visiting Dubrovnik.
