Villa Samba

The owners are lovely, and we’ll definitely come back and recommend the place to our friends and family. We’ve just returned from a week at villa samba, the best accommodation I’ve ever stayed in. It was super clean and perfectly located near a shop, restaurants, and beaches. The view from the apartment was incredible, especially while watching the sunset from our balcony. The pool was amazing, just perfect.

We were amazed by how well Villa Samba is set up. It has everything you could need, from a cooker to a washing machine, and our stay was better value than anywhere else we’ve tried. The coastline is just a couple of minutes away on foot, and it’s lovely for exploring or relaxing. We had a car, which was no problem, with parking around the back. The family who run the place are caring and simply the best hosts. The rooms are spotless, spacious, air-conditioned, and have balconies overlooking beautiful Plat bay. Nikola knows a huge amount about Croatia and shared must-see places, along with practical tips for getting there efficiently on time and cost. He and Ana clearly care about the villa and the country and want guests to enjoy both. The pool is a great size, cleaned daily, and spotless, with immaculate loungers and parasols. Villa Samba is perfectly positioned for Dubrovnik, close to the airport, Čilipi, Cavtat, and plenty of restaurants and shops. There are no words for how good it is. Thank you, Nikola and Ana!

I felt completely comfortable and well looked after as a solo traveller, and this definitely won’t be my last visit. For my first time in Croatia, I couldn’t have picked a better place. Nikola welcomed me with a tasty glass of homemade red wine, a really thoughtful touch, then took time to explain the area and suggest things to see and do. The location has amazing views and works well for both relaxing and exploring nearby spots. It’s very easy to get around on the no. 10 bus. My apartment was spotless, with a comfortable bed, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver after days touring Dubrovnik. I’d definitely recommend Villa Samba.

Nikola and his family were lovely and gave us lots of ideas for places to visit. It’s a quiet area with nice nearby beaches, though walking back up the hill in the heat isn’t great. There isn’t much around, just a shop and four restaurants. The apartments are beautiful and spotless, and the rooms and swimming pool are cleaned daily. I’d recommend it for a lovely, peaceful holiday.
