B&B Villa Sumrak Plitvica Rooms

Gate 3 is close by and less well known, though the place is a bit farther in. We walked there and did route C in reverse, starting with the Upper Lake and avoiding some crowds. Gate 3 accepts Entrance 1 tickets, and there’s no parking charge. Our rooms were comfortable, well kept, and bigger than we expected. The service was great, especially the park advice. We had supper there both nights, and the food and wine were delicious, just as I’d read beforehand. One thing to know: food is cash only. I’d highly recommend it.

Marco gave us good information about the park, and the location was convenient. Our room was clean and spacious, and breakfast was delicious. The service was excellent, and I’d come back.

The dinners at Villa Sumrak were a real highlight. The food was locally sourced, cooked expertly and presented to restaurant standards. We also enjoyed talking with the two brothers about the area’s history. Our hosts did everything they could to make us comfortable, and we felt truly pampered. In April, we had a delightful stay at Villa Sumrak B&B. We felt welcome as soon as we arrived. The room was beautifully decorated, spotless and comfortable, and there was a lovely outdoor seating area where we enjoyed a glass or two of local wine after tiring days exploring Plitvice Lakes National Park. We appreciated the map and the detailed guidance on getting the most from our visit. We highly recommend Villa Sumrak for a relaxing, welcoming getaway. It was a wonderful, memorable experience.

My family, including our two kids, had two fabulous days at plidvice with B&B Sumrak. The atmosphere was warm and felt very family-like. The room, breakfast and dinner were all amazing, and there was a very good choice of Croatian wines.
