Breakfast was a lovely part of the stay, with lots to choose from and attentive service each morning. The hotel also makes a handy base for Plitvice Lakes, with Entrance 3 and some amazing lake viewpoints within walking distance. Our room was spacious and clean, and the beds were comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep every night. There are also plenty of cozy common areas to relax in. Janez and Cressa gave us a very warm welcome at reception, and the staff were professional, efficient, friendly, and helpful throughout.

We didn’t stay overnight, just came for a meal. The lamb peka was delicious and there was plenty of it. The staff were welcoming, and it’s a lovely spot near the lakes and Entrance 3.

Lyn, the housekeeper, was especially helpful, and the staff were friendly and keen to make us comfortable. Our accommodation was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was good, but the dinner menu was limited. By the time it was our turn to order, they had run out of both lamb and steak.

I can only comment on the restaurant, since we stayed elsewhere. It’s a cozy place and the service was good, but the meal didn’t feel worth the high price. My game stew cost a lot and came in a very small portion with only three pieces of meat. No one came by to ask how it was. I wouldn’t go back.

The staff were great, but sadly no one spoke Croatian. We tried the sauna and found dust, worn-out towels, and unfinished electrical work with wires hanging around. We won’t return or recommend it.
