Fenomen Plitvice

There are great walks right from the lodges, and a lake viewing point is nearby. The rooms are spacious and clean, set among picturesque woodland. There’s plenty to do here too, including a spa with sauna, restaurant, outdoor fitness area, and play area. The staff were lovely and helpful.

We loved having a private 40-minute spa session after a long day of hiking, and the free breakfast was great too. We also had dinner at the restaurant twice and enjoyed both meals, along with some delicious Croatian wine. The location is outstanding, with a picturesque overlook of the park just 500 meters away and a walkable route from the resort to the P3 entrance. Highly recommend Fenomen Plitvice Resort!

The people here made a real difference. Staff greeted us warmly when we arrived, helped us work out the best way to explore the park, and were pleasant each morning at breakfast. The breakfast is a la carte, and we especially liked the poached eggs. We walked the 2km to P3 rather than drive, then did the K trail. It’s an unofficial entrance, but tickets for Entrance 1 or 2 work there too. The resort is well placed for the national park, and our room had the toiletries we needed and comfortable bedding after a long day. We also slept well in the comfortable beds and found breakfast filling. My husband and I had an incredible honeymoon stay. A great start to our time in Croatia, 10/10 would recommend.

The staff were so kind and helpful that I already miss them. My family and I had the best stay at Fenomen Plitvice, and it was the highlight of our Croatia vacation. The cabins were outstanding, the food was excellent, and the location was great, within walking distance of several park viewpoints and one entrance. Everything felt perfect from beginning to end, and I’d absolutely recommend staying here!
