The cabin is laid out nicely, with a small living and dining room, a kitchen, and two bedrooms, plus several places to sit outside. I pulled a garden chair close to the house so the roof would keep the drizzle off me. It's a lovely spot for hiking in Plitvice Lakes National Park or the surrounding area, and also a peaceful place to spend a few days with forest, birdsong, and a nearby waterfall. It feels far from any town, but several small grocery stores are only about a ten-minute drive away. You can also leave the car at the cabin and hike to a park entrance. I'd love to return.

From the garden, the river view makes for a peaceful, scenic breakfast, with flowers all around. The Yeti Cabin feels authentic and is in a village at the heart of the Park, with a walking route to the entrance and lakes. Djordje is a welcoming host who knows the region well and shares what he knows with warmth and enthusiasm. A great choice for discovering Plitvice Lakes, and highly recommended!

Our host was generous, friendly, and helpful, and we enjoyed sharing drinks and his company. He also gave us the privacy to enjoy our honeymoon. The place feels like a fairytale, and its location is great for seeing the lakes. It was the highlight of our trip so far, and a beautiful spot to relax.

We came in January 2020 to see the lakes, and the cabin was a cozy place to stay while enjoying the snowy scenery. The hot tub was a huge part of the fun. My friends and I got drunk in it and had the time of our lives surrounded by the snowy landscape. An amazing experience, definitely recommend.

We could walk to national park entrance #3 from the cabin, and the riverfront view was lovely. We had a great time there and wished we'd booked one more day just to relax and take it all in.
