Imperial House

The garden is beautiful to sit in, and breakfast had plenty of variety, with eggs made fresh when requested. The host was very helpful. It’s possible to walk to park entrance 2, a couple of restaurants, and a shop, though most guests seem to have a car. The guest house itself was spotless and well equipped.

It was lovely to sit on the porch in the evening, looking over the little garden in the peaceful backyard. The room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. We were also close to the falls and could walk to a great restaurant. The owner was wonderful, took time to chat with us about Croatia, and answered our language questions. Her continental breakfast was the biggest spread of food I’ve ever seen.

The garden gave us a quiet place to sit in the sun, and the owner clearly puts a lot of passion into running the hotel. She was lovely and helped us plan routes to the waterfalls, taking into account that I don’t walk very well. We stayed for two nights, and her help with the routes made a real difference. Breakfast was amazing, with everything we could want and more. Our room was lovely, with a fridge and water cooker, and the bathroom was spacious with a very nice shower. The bed was good but firm, which my husband likes. This has been our best experience in Croatia so far, and the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. We’d definitely recommend it.

There’s plenty of parking at the property, and it’s only a couple of miles from the lake entrance. The rooms are roomy, clean, tidy, and have everything you need. We also had a peaceful garden view at the back. The owners are so friendly and make you feel at home. Amazing place, couldn’t recommend it enough. Keep up the great work! :)
