Our flight was delayed, so we arrived late. The hosts waited up for us, then sent a video showing exactly how to find our room on the property. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious and well priced. There are friendly, playful cats and a dog around the place, too. I’d definitely recommend it for the location, helpful staff, and welcoming atmosphere.

We especially appreciated how friendly the hosts were. They gave us useful tips for visiting Plitvice Lakes and made us feel at home. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, home style, freshly made, and served in generous portions. The building is new, and our room was roomy, clean, and comfortable, with plenty of space for families, couples, or solo travelers. The location is quiet, just off the main road, easy to find even at night, and has lots of parking. It was a peaceful place to unwind after a day at the park. The Veliki slap waterfall is about 11 km away, and it took us around 10-15 minutes by car to reach the park entrance. Staying here meant a more relaxed, less crowded setting than right beside the park. Great value, lovely hospitality, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We’d happily return.

A nearby place had double booked our room, so they called Rustic Inn River ahead and found us somewhere to stay for the night. We were very happy with how it worked out. The room was lovely, and we had a very nice dinner and breakfast before going off to explore the lakes.
