Apartments Garden House

We were especially fond of the shaded terrace outside Studio Olive. The studio met our expectations and was good value, with a clean, tidy room, internet, and towels changed every five days. It’s fairly quiet and tucked away, yet only a minute from the port and a few minutes from the center of Podgora. The nearest beach is two minutes away, while Plisivac beach is an easy 7-8 minute walk. It’s beautiful under the pine trees, with crystal-clear water. Mrs. Diana and her husband Stipe were kind and helpful, and gave us all the information we needed. Best wishes to them and the owner, Mr. Mate. We’ll definitely stay here again. Podgora is beautiful, with long beaches, a well-kept waterfront, and plenty of restaurants and cafés. Biokovo Nature Park is nearby too. In the evening, you can walk to Caklje, the quieter area behind the center of Podgora. We came across Freja singing beautifully in Croatian and English in the middle of the street. I left a tip and listened to her solo concert. It was an incredible experience for me. There’s also a local bus between Podgora and Makarska, with tickets at 3e, and you can visit Tucepi, Makarska, Baska Voda, and Brela to explore the Riviera and enjoy Dalmatia. I recommend Garden House apartments and Podgora as a destination.

Everything’s nearby, including the beach, shops, and restaurants. The apartment was clean and great :)

The apartment is clean and practical, with everything you need for a vacation. It’s right in the center of Podgora, so the beach and everything else are close enough that we didn’t need the car. The owners were kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. We’ll definitely come back next year.

The studio apartment was big enough for two, and even with our small child we didn’t feel we were missing anything. It had everything we needed for a comfortable vacation. Set in the old part of Podgora, it’s just a few minutes’ walk from everything. The beach we visited was perfect for kids, with pebbles and pine trees providing shade all day 😊
