Apartments Orange

A great apartment. We stayed for seven days. The beach is a moderate distance away, and there’s a bakery nearby. The owner is very kind to tourists. I recommend the place!

We’re still here, staying for five days in two upstairs two-room apartments with friends and their children. So far, everything’s been fine. I’ll add more in a few days.

The building and rooms were okay, but the owner was a disaster. On the first day, she scolded us because friends staying two buildings away came to visit, then screamed at them and sent them away. The next day she complained that we’d wrecked the terrace chairs, even though they were already like that when we arrived. There are two infrared cameras pointed at the terraces, and an elderly woman, probably the owner’s mother, sat on the balcony the whole time watching what happened and giving her daughter orders. Forget having friends over on the terrace in the evenings. This was our first and last stay at this guesthouse. It was our fourth trip to Croatia and the first time we’d come across such a terrible owner. If you want a quiet vacation and might invite friends staying somewhere else, pick a guesthouse other than Orange. I don’t recommend it.

The location was great, and the apartments were spotless and very well equipped. The hosts were kind and hospitable. Ten stars for these apartments!
