Medora Auri Pavilion Residences

The beach is beautiful and the place itself is nice, but the service was very bad. We paid for a sea view and got only a partial one. Meal times were extremely strict: the buffet closed exactly at the posted time, the lights went off suddenly, and even the drink fountains were shut down. There were no exceptions. The employees were aggressive throughout our stay. Our blankets weren’t changed during the seven days. At the beach, guests had to set up the heavy sunbeds and umbrellas themselves, with no help available, and towels weren’t available until after 12:00. Checkout was at 10:00, and there was no room to keep our luggage for a couple of hours. We also had to move the car out of the parking lot immediately after checkout. The facilities are four star, but the service is two star.

The location is scenic, which makes the room situation a shame. Check the pictures of the rooms they sell as sea view: the view is fine, but at best it’s only partial. When you pay an extra 500 a week for a sea view, you expect to see the sea, not the side of the hotel. When I asked for a partial refund, they argued that the room was 70% sea, which is delusional, and said the other rooms were booked out. If you book directly with the hotel and this happens, you’re at their mercy. As an individual, they don’t care about you. Save yourself getting scammed and avoid the place at this cost, or book through a reputable agency that can put pressure on them to make it right.

The food was good, and the staff were nice. Everything was amazing!

The beach was perfect, and we’d love to come back next year. The hotel is unique and great, with amazing food and perfect service. We especially want to mention the very friendly restaurant manager, Ljupco, all the service staff, and Mr Sanel Bronja.
