It's simply accommodation, nothing more. Nobody seems to look after the beach. The place is quiet, the lady is nice, and the beach is only 22 steps away with hardly anyone there. For me, though, the music wasn't enough for the price.

The landlady gave us a very warm welcome. We stayed in apartment IRIS in Podstrana, right by the beach in a quiet spot, with a private beach area, parasols, and sun loungers. Tommy and Ribola are nearby and cover everyday shopping needs. There are also restaurants close by, including the highly recommended Porat beach bar/pizzeria. With the bus stop right beside the apartment, getting to Split or Omis was easy, without the hassle of driving or parking. I'd happily recommend the apartment complex, Doris and Iris.

A comfortable, really nice apartment right by the beach. Just be ready for quite a few stairs on the way there.
