The apartment was so clean and spacious, and waking up to the mountain view was lovely. We arrived late at night and were welcomed so warmly. I’d come back if I return to Podstrana.

Ms. Katavić deserves credit for how comfortable the bedroom beds are! We stayed nine days with Ms. Lucija and had a very enjoyable time. The air-conditioned apartment worked perfectly well for five people, and the kitchen equipment was what we expected. It’s about a seven-minute walk to the beach, and my elderly in-laws managed it without a problem. I wholeheartedly recommend Marko Apartments, and send my greetings to Ms. Lucija, who was so friendly and helpful. One suggestion: extending the balcony drip edges could help. With the air conditioning running, water from the upstairs neighbors’ balcony floods the one below, especially with the prevailing southeast winds.

We’re back for a second year, and I highly recommend the place. The apartment has everything needed, plus air conditioning and two balconies. The owners are great, and the beach, shops, and pizzerias are close by. I highly recommend staying here.
