Apartments Milas

The outdoor kitchen was the highlight for us. Trpimir built it the year before, so it wasn’t shown online when we booked. It’s huge, with a big dining area, gas stove, oven, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, and all the kitchen things we needed. We spent most of our time there when we were at the apartment, especially enjoying breakfast outside. The space can be closed off with sliding glass doors, and there’s a radio, fan, and TV. We were also welcome to use the brick barbecue, and Trpimir supplied everything except charcoal. We had a great time at the pool too. The family cleaned it each morning, and there were loungers with comfortable cushions, towels for them, plus a net and ball for water polo. There’s even a toilet by the pool, which meant we didn’t have to walk back to the apartment while wet. We stayed in one of the two ground-floor apartments from August 18th to 27th, with four adults and our one-year-old. The other apartment was empty because of the COVID-19 situation, and Trpimir and his family lived upstairs. Inside, there was plenty of room and everything we needed. The small kitchenette and dining spot, with a little sofa, are by the entrance. An arch leads to a hall and the two bedrooms. One had a useful crib, the other a single bed that could be used as a sofa bed, and both had large wardrobes. The beds were fine, if not as comfortable as home. The bathroom was basic but worked well and had a washing machine. The whole apartment was very clean. The air conditioner is in the hallway outside the bedrooms. Trpimir was a wonderful host, kind and helpful, and always there when we needed him without hovering. Communication before the trip and during booking was excellent, and he answered all our questions. He welcomed us when we arrived, shared fruit and vegetables from his garden, homemade liqueurs and schnapps, and sweets his wife had baked. We couldn’t have asked for better hospitality. We could easily drive to supermarkets, bakeries, and the nearby pebble beaches, which were all beautiful. There was often a lot of traffic on the way to Split, so delays are to be expected. For us, it was a perfect getaway. We enjoyed the holiday so much that we’d happily go back to Trpimir tomorrow. Thank you, Trpimir!
