The only real challenge is the steep uphill walk, which could be difficult with small children. Otherwise, the apartments are excellent value, and every balcony has a lovely sea view. There's a small shop nearby with everything you need, and across the street you'll find a wonderful beach with clear water and easy access, though beach shoes are a good idea. Sofia is warm and helpful, and her grapes and figs are delicious when they're in season. If you don't have a car, there's a bus stop close by for Split or Omis.

A small supermarket nearby covers daily needs, and a bus runs from the street to Split or Omis. The beach is only five minutes away on foot. Our apartment was very clean and practically furnished, and the landlady was lovely and accommodating.

We loved the sea and island of Brač views from the hillside house, and parking was right outside. The beach is 100 meters away, with plenty of shops nearby. The rooms were clean and furnished in a practical way. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the bus stop just 100 meters from the house makes it easy to reach Split and Omiš. We had a wonderful holiday at Apartmani Sofija and highly recommend it.

The hosts made us feel very welcome during our 10 wonderful days at Apartments Sofija in Podstrana. The apartment was clean, with a lovely sea view, and close to the beach. We'd be happy to return.
