Hotel Eden

The best part of leaving was the only real downside to this stay. The hotel is a short ride from Split, with a bus stop right outside for Split or Omiš, and Uber is popular and very affordable. Nearby, there’s not much beyond the beach and a few restaurants. We made good use of the facilities: there’s an outdoor pool with comfy sunbeds, plus a small indoor pool, a separate whirlpool and a sauna for cooler days. Dinner came quickly and was good. Breakfast had plenty of choice, including a small local specialty, though the bread selection was limited but enough. Our room was spacious, clean and neat, with a lovely sea view, a good shower with both handheld and rain heads, a modern smart TV and good Wi-Fi. The staff at reception and in the bar and restaurant were attentive, friendly and helpful. I had a really pleasant stay here. A kettle or coffee maker in the room, some fresh juice at breakfast now and then, and a few more bread choices would be nice.

We were happy with how peaceful the hotel felt, set back from the main road, while still being fairly close to a bus line that goes straight to Split. Our room was very clean and looked out over the sea. The food was delicious, arrived quickly, and there was a good range of dishes on the menu. Restaurant staff were friendly and efficient, and the receptionist was especially kind and ready to help. We had an excellent stay.

The towels smelled bad, and the jacuzzi was greasy, very dirty and overcrowded. We came from England to Split and stayed here. We told the owner we wanted to cancel our stay, but he argued with us. He was rude and disrespectful, and he pushed me while arguing with me and my daughter. He's tall too. I’d ask tourists not to book this hotel under any circumstances.

We’d happily come back. The hotel restaurant had lots of good food and drink choices, and there are plenty of supermarkets nearby. It’s very close to the sea, too. The place was beautiful and clean, and the staff were really friendly and accommodating.
