Sunset Split Rooms

We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely come back. The staff at the hotel were friendly, and the people at the beach level bar and restaurant were nice too. The hotel is right above a lovely beach, which was very handy. Our rooms weren’t very big, but they were comfortable, with air conditioning and a balcony. We stayed for two nights at the end of last August.

We’re here now, and the place is beautiful. Breakfast is included and the view is awesome. The wifi is the one real problem. We’re from the US and need good internet to watch anything on TV, but we couldn’t stream live shows or even play a laptop video. We ended up watching downloaded things we’d already seen a bunch of times.

There’s a bus stop near the hotel, and the ride to the centre of Split costs only about €2.50. Ribola and Tommy supermarkets are also close by. The hotel has its own little stretch of beach just downstairs, and the water is very clean and clear. There’s no sand, so you need slippers. Our room had no fridge, which was the only downside.

The owner Tony was awesome and really accommodating. You walk out from the ground floor and the beach is right there. The restaurant food was some of the best we had in Croatia, and it was super inexpensive. There’s parking and a supermarket across the street, and downtown split is less than a 10 minute drive. This is hospitality at its best. Stay here, you won’t be disappointed! :D
