Villa Luketa

The apartment was cozy and fully equipped with all the things we needed, and the communication with Damir was great right from the start. My husband and I recently returned from our Croatia holiday and want to thank Damir for his hospitality and for a wonderful stay. The seaside, bus stop, local shops and a few restaurants were all only a few minutes' walk away. It's a quiet place, though the path is narrow, so take care walking to the bus stop. We'd definitely suggest trying the pizza at the local Fabio restaurant. For a day trip, you can take a catamaran to Bol, Brac and Zlatni Rat beach. On the island, there's also an olive museum in Skrip you might consider visiting. Another option is a bus to Omiš, then a boat trip on Cetina river. There are more adventurous activities there too, like rafting, quad biking and ziplining, and you can visit the fortress. For traditional Dalmatian food, I'd recommend Konoba Gusti. In Split, a free walking tour is a nice way to learn about the history of Diocletian’s palace. Ela’s Gelateria has delicious ice cream, and Nadalina is a good place to buy chocolates. If you enjoy sushi and oysters, try Adriatic sushi-oyster-seafood. For the feel of a traditional market, visit Pazar in Split before 9am for the best selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Luketa and will definitely return.
