We felt at home as soon as we arrived at Villa Maria in Stobrec / Split, Croatia. The family running it were welcoming, hospitable and friendly, always ready to answer questions and share great tips for enjoying Split. They clearly cared about making sure we were comfortable. Our room was cozy, comfortable and nicely decorated, with everything needed for a pleasant stay after long days of remote work during the week. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, yet the city center was easy to reach. We could conveniently visit Diocletian's Palace, the charming old town and other attractions. A highlight was the boat trip the family organized. It was worth every penny. Captain Dario was knowledgeable and friendly, pointing out interesting things along the beautiful Croatian coastline. The sea and landscapes were breathtaking, and the trip ended with an unforgettable sunset over Split. Villa Maria was in an ideal spot for our vacation. We'd gladly stay there again next time we're in Split.

We traveled along the Dalmatian coast and stayed in lots of different apartments, but the kids picked Villa Maria as their favorite. It's a lovely place for a family, and the owners offer a boat trip and will do everything they can to make you happy, just ask! Highly recommended.

Avoid this place during the epidemic. They wouldn't refund even part of my booking when I couldn't travel because of COVID. Even after a call with booking, they refused to make any effort. Avoid it.

The rooms are spotless as always, and the whole family gives you such a warm welcome. Service is immaculate too.

Everything in the apartment feels top quality, finished to a really high standard. The hosts were amazing, and the stay was hard to put into words.
