The location really stood out: lovely sea views, a nice pool, and Split close by. The house has charm, though some parts feel worn, and the apartments' kitchens are small and dated, so cooking was difficult. We stayed for a week with friends. Our arrival felt uncomfortable. The host introduced a man as “Security,” and although he was polite, he seemed very intimidating and strict. He laid out lots of rigid rules and warned he would step in if we broke them. At first, the host also said we couldn't stand or chat outside the house, which felt out of place for a property costing €9,000 per week. We weren't told before booking that the host and her family live on the middle floor, or that the security guard might enter without warning. That felt invasive and made it hard to relax. Things improved during the week. The host was kind and helpful, answered our questions, gave us good local advice, and even treated us to pizza one evening. She said past guests had caused trouble, which may explain how she first came across, though that welcome still didn't feel acceptable at this price. We were also initially told toilet paper wasn't included. That seemed absurd given the cost, but after we discussed it, they provided some. We would have respected a no-party policy, but it should be clearly stated in the listing, especially if the host is wary of young guests. If you want a peaceful stay and don't mind close oversight, this could suit you. For privacy and a warm, relaxed welcome, bear all this in mind.

We’re sorry some guests didn’t get the experience they expected. During their stay, though, our house rules were broken repeatedly, with unacceptable noise and disrespect toward the property and neighbors. We’re in a residential neighborhood, so a quiet, considerate environment matters to guests, neighbors, and us. From time to time, we get groups who come to Split to drink day and night, party, ignore the rules, and disturb others. To be clear, this isn’t a party house. If you plan to drink, play loud music, or make noise late at night, this isn’t the right place for you. If you’re after calm, clean, respectful accommodation where everyone can relax, we’ll be happy to welcome you. Thanks for reading, Matija

The owners were kind and accommodating, and the pool was nice too. It’s a good distance from the sea, with a fantastic view and a good location. It was what you’d expect.

We had a really good time here. The owners were so nice, and the big pool worked really well for a family holiday. Amazing place and location :)

The owners were so unfriendly that I can only give one star, and even that feels generous. Our privacy was ignored completely. The older man spoke no English, his German was extremely broken, and he seemed utterly confused. After misplacing his phone, he accused us of stealing it and threatened to search our rooms. He snatched a phone from a friend’s hand, and we got it back only after asking several times. His own phone was in a drawer in his room. He claimed we had taken it, stormed into his room, and put it in the drawer. We weren’t told beforehand that the pool and outdoor area couldn’t be used after 9:30 p.m. The whole accommodation was an outrage, and the owners’ disrespect and lack of manners completely ruined our vacation. Absolutely not recommended!!!
